ACCA: Changes to the Structure of ACCA qualification examinations.
ACCA announced on Monday 10th October, 2016 significant changes to ACCA qualification examinations. This is done to ensure that future accountants have excellent combination of competencies and experience needed to add immense value to their respective organizations.
The highlights of the changes made to ACCA qualification examinations include:
- Knowledge, skills and professional levels are now to be known as applied knowledge, applied skills and strategic professional levels.
- Papers P1 and P3 are now merged and the new paper is to be known as Strategic Business Leader (an innovative case study).
- Paper P2, formerly called Corporate Reporting, is known to be called Strategic Business Reporting.
- The first sitting of the new strategic professional exams will be in September 2018.
