What is

CLB - OLUMAWU University Pathways?

Anchored on the International University Foundation Programme (IUFP), the Programme is a one year full-time pre-degree course, which offers students a fast track alternative to GCE A levels and an entry route to prestigious Universities for degree courses.

The Programme is aimed at O’level students seeking admission into Universities after one year of study.

The Programme is offered in collaboration with Olumawu School, Wuse II, Abuja.

  2. Equips students with skills required to ease into degree courses at leading Universities without the need to undertake a two-year GCE A levels course.
  3. Progression to a wide range of degree courses, which include:

  4. Option to apply to a prestigious University of choice (List available on request)
  5. Assistance to secure a place at a prestigious University through IUFP’s University Placement Service.
Methodology

The Programme is an intensive user-friendly International University Foundation Programme and requires students to undertake study of 6 (six) subjects over a period of one year.

All students on the programme will undertake three core compulsory subjects and three electives of their choice, depending on the degree they wish to pursue.

Students will undertake the 3 (three) compulsory core modules in the first term (September -December). Thereafter, they will study 3 (three) elective modules in the second (January -March) and third terms (April – June).

These modules will be subject areas relevant to the student’s choice of proposed degree.

Admission Requirements

Students must have completed the Senior Secondary School (O’level SSCE) education and be at least 16 years old. They must possess Five (5) Credits at GCSE ‘O’ level standard (or equivalent) which must include English language and Mathematics.
