CIPM Qualification?
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) is the umbrella association for practitioners of Human Resource Management in Nigeria.
It is the apex regulatory body responsible for promoting excellence in HR practice in Nigeria and seeks to deliver value for sustainable growth of individuals and organizations.
The ACIPM is the Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.

Membership by Examination
The examination route to becoming a member of CIPM Nigeria comprises of 6 stages (Examination Modules) and examinations are normally held in February and August every year.

Eligibility and Benefits
Foundation I is the normal starting point and requires that eligible candidates possess WASSCE/NECO/GCE Ordinary level. However, students may request exemptions from specific modules if they possess the following qualifications:
- Holders of OND/NCE and its equivalent in the Social Sciences, Humanities and Management courses shall begin from Foundation II.
- Holders of Bachelor’s degree /HND in the Social Sciences, Humanities and Management courses shall begin from Intermediate II
- Holders of Bachelor’s degree / HND in other disciplines shall begin from Intermediate I.
- Candidates who are 30 years and above with a minimum of 5 O’level credits which must include English Language and Mathematics will start from Foundation II.
- Holders of Higher degrees (e.g. M.A./M.Sc./MBA/ M.Phil./PhD) in relevant disciplines shall begin from PE I
- Holders of higher degrees in other disciplines shall begin from Intermediate II
- Candidates who hold the Associate certificate by Examination only of other relevant and recognised institutes with a Bachelor Degree /HND and possess the requisite five credits at Ordinary level shall begin from PE I upon submission and acceptance of the students’ official transcript by the institute.
